Words from Tor

On the screen in front of you is the 4Service 2023 Annual Report. In addition to the standard content such as annual reports and accounts, you will also get to read a little about all the exciting things that happened in our company over the course of the last year.

Our three divisions, Food & Facilities, Cleaning and Maintenance and Accommodation, have all delivered impressive results and new solutions for our customers. Within HR, HSEQ and sustainability, we have continued our work against exclusion in working life. We recognise our corporate social responsibility, and social workplace inclusion remains a high priority for us. Market and communication have been reorganised and created new strategies that will strengthen us in both the short and long term. I do not want to give away too much from the other articles, but there is one point that deserves to be repeated: 2023 was a very good year for us at 4Service, thanks to the efforts of everyone I am proud to call my colleagues, and to all our customers who have chosen us as their partner.

4Service har utviklet seg mye siden starten i 2010.

The concept for this year’s annual report is “Then. Now.” and focuses on the simple fact that we as a company will never say we are satisfied with the status quo. Our philosophy of delivering simple and personalised service industry solutions is based on a culture where everyone is committed to small, daily improvements. It is about a hunger for to further develop what we already have and create new things where we see opportunities. The many new concepts, services and openings last year are all great examples of just that. The past has its place, but at 4Service it is the here and now and what lies ahead of us that is really important.

In 2023, our company moved on from its adolescence into young adulthood. We also found that the organisation increasingly needed more structure and time for what matters most. As a consequence of this, we began a comprehensive project to map the entire organisation. The aim of the project is to simplify, just as we prefer at 4Service. We are going back to our roots and ensuring that everyone has more time for customers and their employees. Only this way can we develop and deliver a better product tomorrow than we did today.

Finally, I would like to say a little about the current year. 2024 will be the reference year for our new 10:10 target for 2027. Over the course of the next few years, we will achieve a turnover of NOK 10 billion and a bottom line of 10 percent EBITDA. This is a springboard for our target of achieving a broader Nordic focus, with 2024 serving as the year of implementation. We will use what we learned in the mapping project to keep up the energy, and together we will further develop the power inherent in our company. It is a privilege and a joy to lead 4Service. The journey so far has been incredible. The journey ahead will be even more exciting!

2023 was not how division director of Food & Facilities, Trine Holmen-Løkken, imagined it would be. It was both better and more hectic.
